Quick Trends is the latest addition to the Visibrain platform features.

With Quick Trends, you can instantly compare the tweet volume of several topics on Twitter, allowing you to discover which had the most impact in seconds.

So how does it work? Here’s a quick introduction to our newest feature and how to get the best out of it.

Fast, easy topic comparison

Quick Trends allows digital marketing professionals to identify and compare several topics on Twitter in a few simple steps. Simply enter the hashtags or keywords that interest you to obtain an exact graph of their corresponding tweet volumes.

Quick Trends immediately compares the tweet volumes of the topics of your choice from the last 30 days

Adaptable to suit your needs

The new feature ensures that you only get the results you need by allowing you to use as many keywords as necessary to define your topic. The interactive graph can be clicked on to zoom in on certain time frames, to obtain minute-by-minute results.

Fully accurate results

The Quick Trends feature is the first of its kind to provide a fully accurate tweet count, as it is designed to deal with all Twitter-specific real time and volume issues. Our results are 100% reliable thanks to our partnership with Gnip, a branch of Twitter, which guarantees access to every last tweet.

Available now, you can test Quick Trends for free by signing up on www.visibrain.com

We’ve used the 2015 Apple World Wide Developers Conference as an example, to show how Quick Trends can help us to identify the most-tweeted topics of the day.

First, enter your keywords, hashtags or mentions. You can compare up to five different topics, using as many keywords as you need to define each one.

We are going to compare Apple Music, the Apple Watch, iOS 9 and El Capitan, the main topics presented at the conference. Our final topic combines all of the above to give us an idea of the overall number of tweets.

Step 1 - Choose your topics to be compared

By clicking on the “Preview” button, you obtain a graph displaying the exact volumes of tweets posted over the last 30 days.

By clicking directly on the graph, you can select a period of time and zoom in on it. Below, we have selected June 8th.

Zoom in on a time frame by clicking on the graph

By zooming in further, we can display tweets between 8 am and 2 pm. Quick trends then immediately shows tweets minute-by-minute.

You can zoom in even further to obtain minute by minute precision

We can see that apart from the main #WWDC2015 hashtag, the most popular topic of the day was iOS 9.
